Photographing Newborns while they are still TINY!

I find photographing newborns to be such a rewarding experience because they really are only so little for only so long. To really capture them when they are all wrinkly and in the fetal position like in Anne Geddes photographs, the babies are usually under 2 or 3 weeks old so time is really of essence!

If you are expecting or know of someone who is expecting and is hoping to have newborn portraitures taken, I would definitely suggest to book a photo session about 3 to 4 weeks in advance if possible so you don't miss capturing that special time:)

Here's a few photos of newborns that I've taken in the past few months.

KARA Collage 2
Baby Kara at 3 weeks old

Colin 1 week-22 copy
Baby Colin at 1 week old - look his arm is as big as Daddy Alex's thumb!!! Daddy Alex sure has a gigantic thumb...

Jovin JULY 2008-WEB 3

Baby Jovin at 3 weeks old - he's just snoozing away in on the basket while I take photos of him :)

note: I do selective colouring only on some photo
